Systema Breathing: Recovery and Health

An experiential overview of the health and recovery methods of Russian Systema.

Physical, physiological and psychological habit governs a much larger part of our life than we realize. Learning to loosen the bonds of selective unawareness and automatic response can give us freedom and possibility far beyond what we normally consider available.

Learn how to loosen the grip of fear and anger, dissipate tension, and recognize and support the bodies' natural drive for equilibrium.

Be ready to challenge yourself, explore, and leave some old baggage behind.

We will touch on:

  • An overview of Systema Breathing Principles
  • Breath as tool
  • Breath as awareness
  • Creating movement from breath
  • Dissipating fear and tension
  • Matching breath to environment
  • Practices to take home
